About Australian Shepherds
"INTRODUCTION: First and foremost, the Australian Shepherd is a true working stockdog, and anything that detracts from his usefulness as such is undesirable. The most important breed characteristics are overall moderation in size and bone, balance with correct proportions, and sound movement
GENERAL APPEARANCE: The Australian Shepherd is a well-balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each specimen. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bobtail. In each sex, masculinity or femininity is well defined.
CHARACTER: The Australian Shepherd is primarily a working dog of strong herding and guardian instincts. He is an intelligent, exceptional companion. He is versatile and easily trained: performing his assigned tasks with great style and enthusiasm. He is reserved with strangers but does not exhibit shyness. This unusually versatile stockdog works with the power and quickness to control difficult cattle as well as the ability to move sheep without unnecessary roughness. Although an aggressive, authoritative worker, viciousness toward people or animals is intolerable."-ASCA
About the Ranch
C&C Ranch in an 8th generation Cache Valley Ranch that is currently growing the 9th generation.

We raise ASCA and AKC/ASCA Australian Shepherds. We pride ourselves on raising well rounded, working, intelligent and great temperaments in our dogs.
​
We carefully plan each litter with the goal of raising well rounded puppies that have proven themselves in herding, service, therapy, sport and obedience. We believe tail docking is unethical and leave all of our puppies tails in tacked.
​
Each of our adult dogs are fully health tested with OFA: hip, elbow, patella, eye and cardiac. Embark DNA testing, UC Davis Merle length and ASCA DNA VP/CP.

With over a decade of working, training, and breeding Aussies, we want to acknowledge our puppies owners and the time and love they provide our pups.

Our children ages 4-13 assist in training and showing them in 4H. They have earned multiple Grand and Reserve ribbons in Obedience, Showmanship, Rally and Agility.
We put the same love and care into each of our puppies we produce. Our pups have found their families all over the US from Alaska, New York, down to Texas.
Their owners continue their training in a wide range of homes. They are proven in Sport- Winning Nationals in Dock Diving 2025. Helping on the farm, frisbee, family, companion and Serivce work.
