Registered 2 yr old Polled Hereford bull

Tag ID 195 Calved 3/30/23

Birthweight: 62 pounds

Weaning Weight: 500 pounds

Yearling Weight: 710 pounds

He is a fully DNA tested homozygous polled bull with some top marks for calving ease (top 21% of the breed) , good weaning weights (top 8%) and yearling weights (top 3%). His EPD’s are noted for udder improver, with improved carcass on ribeye size and marbling. He is fully DNA tested and verified. He is a bull that moves out well with good eyes and good eye pigment. His dam died when he was a couple of months old which accounts for his lighter weaning weight. He performed well in a pen of his peers just with a smaller growth curve due to losing out on milk as a younger calf. I would expect this bull to bring a lot of improvement to the table. He has a strong EPD profile with good breeding that should show in his offspring. He fully pigmented on one eye and 1/2 pigmented on his other eye. His sire is a well renowned bull name BEHM Cuda that can be view at this link: https://selectsiresbeef.com/bull/hereford/behm-100w-cuda-504c/. His dam was a good well bred heifer we had a lot of hope for until injury forced us to cull her. Her genetics were solid performance lines from Churchill and Ned/Jan Ward breeding. While he is not PAP tested herefords are well noted for leading out on low PAP scores.

He is already trich tested and negative for the 2026 season with tags for the coming year. He was semen tested on Oct 19, 2025 and scored excellent for semen motility, morphology and quantity.

Ranch/Breeder information:

C&C Ranch is an 8th generation Cache Valley ranch that is currently growing the 9th generation to hopefully keep it going. We follow a strict vaccination and parasite program and follow the newest research in breeding and animal husbandry to produce the most quality animals we can. Our mineral/vitamin supplementation is a custom mix that utilizes liver sample evaluation to ensure we’re providing the best mix we can for our animals. We do not actively PAP test our bulls as we are not at the minimum 6000 foot elevation which is needed to get an accurate test completed. We buy genetics from ranches that do PAP test their animals and run them at very high elevations and they do not have issues. Our pastures are not irrigated fields and we expect our animals to perform across a variety of conditions to produce quality offspring. Our family works hard to offer quality animals that we stand behind and anything we sell for breeding is an animal we would use ourselves.
