About Heifers
All three heifers are up to date on parasite/wormer applications. Valbazen oral dewormer and Ivermectin Pour-On administered March 28, 2026. They were treated for respiratory virus, 8 way and pink eye last year. Heifers have been out on pasture all winter with only light proteib supplementation and have done well foraging through what little snow we had.

Each heifer has the same sire. He had solid offspring with good udders, small teats and excellent calving ease (never pulled a calf from this bull). His dam is still in our herd and is 12 years old with good udder and disposition. She has had a calf every year, on time, and with good maternal instinct.

They are docile heifers that are easy to work with and handle. They are starting to develop their udders for calving and are getting close to that time.

Each heifer is bred to an Angus bull. He does carry red so they could have a black or red baldy calf. The bull is an AI son of Baldridge Gibson and he should sire excellent calves (last year was his first breeding year and we haven't seen any of his calves hit the ground yet). He is a solid built bull with good genetics and one we will be using as our cleanup bull for the next several years.
